During the early 1930's Gray designed some of her now most famous pieces of furniture, including the Bibendum Chair.
The name that Gray chose for the chair, Bibendum, originates from the character created by Michelin to sell tyres. The chair was designed for the room so that it looked inviting and made you want to sit down in it.
Chair designed by Gray
Hard wooden structure stuffed with polyurethane foam.
Leather upholstery. Base in chromed steel tubes.
At this price our Bibendum Chair is not licensed by Aram. Today, a full grain leather coated original Bibendum Chair would sell for an approximate price of £2300
