Recliner designed by Charles Eames (1956)
The recliner design by Charles Eames is famous all over the world. He designed the recliner with his wife - Ray Eames. The recliner design is with a palisander structure and base in aluminium polished and black lacquered. Leather upholstered.
Finished in rosewood as per the designers original specifications.
The designers licensed both Herman Miller and Vitra to produce their designs. The designs are no longer in copyright so we are able to produce recliner designs at a much more competitive price than what you would expect to pay for a Vitra or Herman Miller produced one.
We were one of the first companies to bring classic designs such as the Charles Eames Recliner design to the masses at affordable prices.

Please note our recliner designed by Charles Eames and Ray Eames are made to the original specification: rosewood chair and black leather. This is the also the case for all of our Bauhaus classic furniture designs.
Please note that the original Eames chair and Eames Ottoman (or Eames Recliner) is by Herman Miller and Vitra. Clearly at this price the chair is not made by either Vitra or Herman Miller.
